Seminar on
Algebraic Methods in Combinatorics

Beijing Normal University, 21 -23 November 2005

Algebraic methods are powerful in the study of Combinatorics, for example, in the study of highly symmetric graphs and highly regular graphs. The seminar is a short course on distance-regular graphs, and will introduce basic theory and recent development. The content will include antipodal distance-regular graphs, balanced condition, subgraph theory, Terwilliger bound and Terwilliger algebra.
The lecturer of this course is Prof. Dr. Hiroshi Suzuki, International Christian University, Japan, who is one of the active experts on the subject.
The program of the seminar (preliminary)is as follows.
