报告题目:网上学数学

摘要:互联网开放教育是将大学教育资源上传至互联网,由网民免费在线观看或下载后离线学习,实现教育资源的全球免费共享,是一种近年来迅速发展的新的教育模式。它使高等教育走出校园免费进入普通百姓家,改变了传统的教育模式,掀起了人类高等教育史上的一场革命。如今,只要有一台连接互联网的终端(电脑或智能手机),任何人都能足不出户在任何时间、任何地点,平等地接受国内外名校名师的免费高等教育,圆上大学梦,甚至出国留学梦。

依托遍布全球的互联网和上亿的学习者,互联网开放教育已发展成为专业齐全的全球最大的无校园的免费超级开放大学。提供了丰富的视频、教科书、课件等高等教育资源,汇集了人类几千年来的几乎所有的知识的总和,形成一个海量的信息空间。它向全社会提供免费的终身高等教育,普及科学知识,以提高全民族的科学文化素养和专业技能,促进社会的可持续发展,可产生巨大的社会和经济效益。

本讲座主要包括:互联网开放教育体系结构、互联网开放教育体系的发展与形成、互联网开放教育特点、互联网数学教育课程体系、互联网开放教育未来发展趋势等内容。

题目:The micro-structure and the phase transition process of Macromolecular Microsphere Composite (MMC) Hydrogel(有关MMC水凝胶的相变和微结构的计算)

摘要:

In this talk, I will present the micro-structure and the phase transition process of Macromolecular Microsphere Composite (MMC) Hydrogel.

 Firstly a model to describe the micro-structure of Macromolecular Microsphere Composite (MMC) Hydrogel is proposed in the framework of self-consistent mean field theory (SCFT).  The equation system derived by SCFT approximation is solved by a relaxation algorithm.  From the numerical simulations of the model, we find that two model parameters play  important role in describing  the micro-structure of MMC hydrogel, the interactions between two species (polymer chains and MMS spheres) and the volume fraction of MMS spheres. The role of various other model parameters on the structure of the hydrogel is also discussed in this paper. The simulation results are shown to be  consistent with the observation from the experiments. Moreover, we also show some new microstructures discovered using the SCFT model.

 Then, we use Time-Dependent Ginzburg-Landau(TDGL) mesoscopic model to simulate the phase transition process of macromolecule microsphere composite(MMC) hydrogel.  We propose a free energy for such reticular structure, according to the structures of MMC hydrogel and entropy theory.  This work generalize  the mean field theory confined by Flory-Huggins free energy in polymer blend system. Spectral method is adopted to numerically solve  the MMC-TDGL equation.  The numerical results are consistent with chemical experiments,  showing out the network structure. According to the numerical results at different temperatures, we get that the system shows intermittent phenomenon as upgrading reaction temperature, which is a very good explanation of chemical experiments.

题目:Kac-Moody群及其旗流形的上同调

摘要:Kac-Moody群分为三类,有限型,仿射型和不定型。 有限型对应于单连通的复半单李群,仿射型和LOOP群紧密相关,在共性场论中有广泛应用。而不定型中的双曲型,在近年来对超弦和量子引力的研究中,也被认为有重大的作用。对于有限型和仿射型 Kac-Moody 群及其旗流形的上同调,有以Pontrjagin, Hopf, Borel, Bott, Samelson, Milnor and Moore, Chevalley等人为代表的大量的研究工作,相关文献非常丰富。而对于占绝大多数的不定型,由于不见得存在Killing型,所以很难处理。除了平凡情形,一个能够计算的例子都没有。我们通过综合应用 Hopf代数,Schubert 分析和一些数论中的工具。对Kac-Moody 群的旗流形的 Weyl 群及 Weyl 群的不变量进行仔细的研究,对相应的 Poincare 级数进行了大量的计算,在此基础上完全解决了Kac-moody群及其旗流形的有理上同调的计算问题。从而完全决定了 Kac-Moody 群及其旗流形的有理同伦型。以此为基础,我们还给出了计算Kac-Moody 群上的 Samelson 乘积的完整的方法。这是相关领域研究的一次重大突破。在这一过程中,得到了一系列的重要结果,证明或否决了前人的一些猜想。报告将对这方面的工作进行简单的介绍,并讨论一些可以继续研究的问题。

题目:度量空间上调和函数的梯度估计与等周不等式Gradient estiamtes for harmonic functions and isoperimetric inequality on metric spaces
摘要:
In the talk, we will talk about  recent works on harmonic functions and isoperimetric inequality on metric spaces. On a metric spaces with locally doubling measure and a Bakry-Emery type curvature condition, Yau type gradient estimate for harmonic functions are established. As a converse part, gradient estimate for harmonic functions imply a local isoperimetric inequality on metric spaces.

题目:Isoparametric foliation and Yau conjecture on the first eigenvalue

摘要:

A well known conjecture of Yau states that the first eigenvalue of every minimal hypersurface in unit sphere is just its dimension. Up to now, this conjecture is still far from being solved. In the joint paper with Z.Z.Tang accepted by Journal of Differential Geometry, we prove that Yau conjecture is true for minimal isoparametric hypersurfaces . The content of this work was reported on the 8-th China-Japan Conference on differential geometry.

题目:On the evolution of cooperation: reward and punishment合作行为的进化:奖励和惩罚机制
摘要:
Evolution is based on the competition between individuals and therefore
rewards only selfish behavior. How cooperation (or altruism behavior)
could prevail in social dilemma then becomes problematic issues. Cooperation can be preferable when incentive mechanisms such as reward and punishment are provided. In this presentation, recent results on the evolution of cooperation are introduced, including both theoretical and experimental studies.
